How to Enter
1) You must be present at the NAEA Conference in Seattle in 2011 to qualify for the prize.
2. Have each member of your class make a decorative Peep Hole Plug and take a digital image of the three top plugs your class would like to enter in the finals. It must be made of clay, fired and functional. By “Functional” we mean: the plug part fits into the peep hole’s 1 1/4 inch opening tapering to ¾ of an inch. The peep hole plug needs to supports itself while in the peep hole. Plug part should not be glazed (underglaze is OK). The part of your plug that sets outside of the kiln may be glazed. See our example in our 2009 Gallery
3. Take a digital picture of it. (Preferably on grey paper) and upload it along with your registration.
4. Register to win before the 2011 deadline, fill out the form, and post each photo.
5. Check your e-mail in late February to see if one of your students pieces is selected as one of the 20 finalists to be displayed at the Skutt Booth at NAEA in Seattle 2011.
6. Bring your student’s piece to the show where it may be chosen as the grand prize winner.
